Lock Haven, PA- PA- Mother nature is continuing her hold on Clinton County Motor Speedway. The April 19th season opener has been cancelled due to forecasted heavy rain and high winds in the central PA region.
The 3/8th mile oval is now set to open Friday April 26 at 7:30 pm. On the schedule are the Smith Excavating & Construction limited late models, Gary’s Motor Mart Laurel Highlands IMCA sprint cars, Millers Automotive Machine pro stocks, Weaver’s Radiator & Auto Repair/Jay Coder Excavating & Trucking 270 micro sprints and TJ Shooters Sports Bar FWD 4 cylinder stock cars. Gates open at 5 pm. Warm ups start at 7.
The kids Easter candy scramble presented by GFY Racing Supply of Avis, PA will also be held during the April 26 event. GFY Racing Supply is a speedway sponsor supplying race teams with quality fuel, tires and parts. They can be reached at (570)-295-6760 or on Facebook.
General admission is just $ 12. Students 12-17, $ 10. Kids under 12 are admitted free. Pit admission is $ 30.
