May 20, 2019

Lock Haven, PA- Clinton County Motor Speedway management and staff are saddened to learn of the passing of IMCA sprint car owner Mark Ganoe. The Thompsontown resident fielded sprint cars with son Kyle, for competition at central PA speedways.

Currently the details of Ganoe’s death are not known. More information will be forwarded when it becomes available.

Early in life, Ganoe worked in and, later owned his families business, Ganoe Motors, a Chrysler Plymouth dealership on South Main Street, Lewistown. Ganoe tried his hand as a sprint car driver, campaigning a leaf spring front end racer against torsion bar cars. Later Ganoe found employment driving trucks, which would eventually land him in the NASCAR racing industry. Ganoe returned home to field sprint cars with his son Kyle, who along with his family survive him. Ganoe was not married.

Clinton County Motor Management and staff ask all to pause and remember this fallen racer and keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

The speedway’s website and Facebook pages will be updated as more information becomes available.
