Thanks to event sponsor TC Transport of Bellefonte, PA., limited late model drivers battle in their largest paying/CCMS, Sam Ray promoted event on Friday May 31. Title named ” The Nittany 40 “, the winner’s take is $ 2,500. Runner up receives $ 1,200. Third place , $ 900. Fourth place, $ 700 and, fifth place $ 600. The remainder of the top ten payoff is as follows; Sixth, $ 500. Seventh, $ 400. Eighth, 350. Ninth, $325 and tenth $ 300. Starting the 40 lap main is worth $ 200. The total purse is $ 10,725.
The Nittany 40 for limited late models is a time trial event which does not require a entry fee to compete in.

Speedway management is pleased to announce the addition of an exciting pro stock program Friday September 20. Keystone Rail Recovery presents the Keystone 40 $ 1,500., to win pro stock special which will utilize a time trial/heat race format. Several area speedways are not racing pro stocks that evening and a stellar field of PA/New York racers are expected. Rules will be reviewed to allow maximum participation. Race organizers plan to pay heat race money. Additional sponsors are currently being sought. Keystone Rail Recovery specializes in Relay and Scrap Railroad materials. The firm purchases, sorts, refurbishes, resurfaces and returns suitable rail to railroads. The 3/8th mile oval is open for practice Friday April 5 to all type race cars at 7 pm. Gates open at 5. General admission is free. Those desiring to enter the pit area may purchase a pit pass at a cost of $20.
Coming Friday April 12 at 7:30, it’s the season opener featuring the Smith Excavating & Construction limited late models, Gary’s Motor Mart IMCA sprint cars, Miller’s Automotive Machine pro stocks, Weaver’s Radiator & Auto Repair/Jay Coder Excavating & Trucking 270 micro sprints and 600 micro sprints. General admission is $ 12 with students 12-17 $ 10. Kids under 12 are free. Admission to the pit area is $ 30. Gates open at 5 pm. Opening night ceremonies start at 7 followed by warm-ups. The season’s first green flag is scheduled for 7:30.
