Clinton County Motor Speedway Revises Qualifying Procedure

Lock Haven, PA-Clinton County Motor Speedway Officials changed qualifying procedures following the Friday May 17 racing program.

Starting with the May 24 events, any division with nine cars or less will run one heat race with the top three finishers redrawing for the feature event. The move was made in order to reduce time, wear and, tear on race cars, and, laps on the racetrack.

The revised rule change is now posted on the speedway website at www.clintoncountymotorspeedway.com.

The speedway returns to action this Friday, May 24 with Spring Championship Night for the Smith Excavation & Construction limited late models, Millers Automotive Machine pro stocks, Weaver’s Radiator & Auto Repair 270 micro sprints, TJ Shooters Sports Bar FWD 4 cylinder stock cars and 600 micro sprints. Gates open at 5pm. The first event will be the make-up pro stock feature at 7:15. Warm-ups get underway at 6:45.
